BORGER - Ella Mae Newman, 89, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2008.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Highland Park Cemetery with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe officiating. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Newman was born March 22, 1919, in Cherokee County, Okla., to W.H. and Betty Maude Cookson Henson. She married Frank Oliver Newman in 1938.
Survivors include two sons, Don Newman and Jimmy Newman, both of Borger; a brother, Jack Henson of Fritch; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
