Loretta was 83. She was a lifelong resident of the Paducah area. In 1932 she graduated from Paducah High School. She married Arch Ross Thomas in 1932 at Cottle County. He preceded her in death in 1988. She was also preceded in death by a son, Wayne Ray Thomas, in 1939.
She worked for JC Penney and later for the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service. She was a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include daughters, Patsy Walling and Betty Cutshall; brothers, John Gilbreath and Edward Gilbreath; three grandchildren and three great grandsons.
