Funeral services for J.W. Norman, 52, area resident since 1944, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the Bunavista Baptist Church with the Rev. Donald Brent, pastor, officiating.

Norman died at 4:45 a.m. Saturday in North Plains Hospital. He resided at 4125 Fifth Street in Philview and was an employee of the Phillips Petroleum Company.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lois Norman; one daughter, Mrs. Fred J. Englund of Borger; one brother, Dan Norman of Lubbock; and two grandchildren.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Ed Brown, funeral director.

Pallbearers will be R.W. Renfroe, I.M. Livingston, J.M. Davis, R.C. Gaither, J.T. McDonald and McNeal Purvis.

Honorary pallbearers will be Carmon Scroggins, J.T. Hall, O.D. Bullard, O.C. McAnally and C.O. McClellan.

BORGER - Lois Norman, 92, died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2001

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Brown Funeral Directors, Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Philip Hilton, pastor of Sunray Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Norman was a member of Bunavista Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Wiley Norman in 1960; and a sister, Pauline Holland in 1999.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Jo Englund of Amarillo; a brother, Eugene Connelly of Achille, Okla.; four sisters, Mabell Barbee of Plainview, Marie Mapp of Achille, Camilee Coon of Monroe, Wash., and Norma Wells of Hendrix, Okla.; two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
