Borger Daily Herald - August 17, 1944
Jesse Fordyce Orndoff, 65, a pioneer resident of Borger, died yesterday at his home 306 McGee after a prolonged illness.
Coming to Borger in 1926 as an employee of George Kessler, he had been recently employed by the Drilling and Exploration Company.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Elsie M. Orndoff of Borger, also surviving are two sons, Carl and Robert Orndoff of Pennsylvania and three daughters. He is also survived by four brothers and three sisters, who are residents of Pennsylvania. He was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church.
The body is in state at the Blackburn Shaw-Powell Funeral Home where arrangements are pending the arrival of relatives.
