*Obituary
Will Orrick, age 60, died last night in a Borger hospital from the effects of an acute ailment.
Orrick came to Borger in 1926, first engaging in the hardware business and more recently in the restaurant business, operating two cafes here.
He was a prominent lodgeman, belonging to the Loyal Order of Moose, the Masonic Lodge, the Knights of Pythias, and the Woodmen of the World. He had been a charter member of the First Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Nellie; two sisters, Mrs. H.C. Smetzer, Sapulpa, Okla., and Mrs. J.D. Miller, Borger; a brother, L.G. Orrick of Borger; a son, M.G. (Puffy) Orrick of Borger; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services have been scheduled for Friday afternoon at 2:30 from the First Baptist Church with the Rev. James Glenn officiating. Burial will take place in Llano Cemetery, Amarillo. All arrangements are under the direction of Powell Funeral Home.
