Funeral services for Charles L. Overton, 54, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Church of Christ, Second and Deahl. Mr. Don Willingham, minister of the church, and Mr. S.L. Edwaards, minister of the Dumas Church of Christ, will officiate at the services. Graveside rites in Highland Park cemetery will be under the auspices of the Adobe Walls 1355 A.F. & A.M. with interment under the direction of Ed Brown, funeral director.

Overton died at 2 a.m. today after suffering a heart attack at 1112 Spruce, where he was visiting. A former Borger resident, he had resided in Dumas for the past three years. He was a member of the Dumas Church of Christ and the Masonic Lodge at Vinson, Oklahoma.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruby Overton, two sons, Charles Overton Jr. and Gaylon Overton, both of Dumas, three sisters Mrs. Maxine Cook, Wichita Falls, Mrs. C.L. Matheny, Edmonton, Cadada and Mrs. R.B. Pendergraft of Borger; and three grandchildren.

All members of the Adobe Walls Lodge 1355 A.F. & A.M. are requested to report to the Masonic Hall at 10 a.m. Saturday.
