*Obituary
Funeral services for Carl S. Parker, 67, of 314 Veta, will be held today at 2 p.m. in the Bible Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles McDowell, pastor, officiating.
Parker died at 1:30 a.m. Friday in an Amarillo hospital. He had been a resident of the Borger area for the past 20 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ida Mae Parker and two children, Carolyn Sue and Carl S. Parker, Jr., all of the home, and one brother, Jeff Parker of Exeter, California.
Burial will be in the Highland Park Cemetery with Ed Brown, Funeral Director, in charge.
Casket bearers will be Johnny Swaffer, Jack Carpenter, Gene Strickland, Enos Green, Paul Carpenter and Vernon Jenkins.
