Ernest Parkhurst, 79, died Monday, March 1, in Amarillo.
Services are pending with Brown Funeral Directors.
Mr. Parkhurst was a native of Welch, Okla. and a Borger resident for 54 years. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the Army. He was a retired operator with J.M. Huber.
Mr. Parkhurst was a member of Bible Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Ruette Parkhurst, in 1992.
Survivors include one son, Ronnie Parkhurst of Borger; one brother, George Parkhurst of Borger; and two grandsons, Joel Parkhurst of Dallas and Jeff Parkhurst of Borger.
