*Obituary
Graveside services for Fred Pate, 56, of 100 N. Main, were held at 3 p.m. today in Highland Park Cemetery, with the Rev. A.J. Holster, pastor of Collegeview Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial was by Alexander Funeral Directors.

Mr. Pate died at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday in North Plains Hospital.

Mr. Pate was a laborer, and a veteran of World War II.

There are no known survivors.
