Steven Johnson "Dick" Parker was born on November 12, 1842 to Andrew Jackson Parker and Nancy Johnson Parker (died in 1902) in Tallapoosa County, Alabama.
His parents were married on January 28, 1840 in Meriwether, Marion County, Georgia.
