*Obituary
Funeral services for Charles A. Powers, 27, of 204 West Eighth, will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Wesley Methodist Church with the Rev. O.A. McBrayer, pastor, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Lloyd Hamilton, pastor of the First Methodist Church.
Powers died at 10:40 a.m. Monday in North Plains Hospital. He had been a Borger resident for several years and was in the real estate business and associated with the Powers Jewelry of Borger. He was a member of the Wesley Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sue, a daughter, Peggy Sue, and a son, Dale, all of the home; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andy Powers, of 805 North Deahl.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home.
