Reverend Joe Cyrus Houston was born March 12, 1862 in Alabama to Edward "Ned" Houston and Martha Randall. Joe was the brother to 6 known siblings of record.
He was the husband of Miss Emma J. Paul. From this union they had 9 known children. Three sons and six daughters of record.
Mr. Houston died February 18, 1946 at age 83 in Huntsville, Walker County, Texas
