William David Ramsey, 87 of Borger died Saturday December 19th in Borger.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 22nd at Minton Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

William was born July 19, 1928 in Borger to Roy A. and Goldie Beatty Ramsey. He served in the US Marines during WWII as a Sgt. He was a rifleman and went to sea school. He loved to give everyone a hard time. He loved to weld, Borger history donating to the Hutchinson County Museum.

William was preceded in death by his parents, a son David Allen Ramsey and a brother Roy Allen Ramsey.

He is survived by granddaughters Mary Ellen Ramsey Hatcher and Husband Tracy of Baytown, TX. Marcy Deville of Katy, TX. Five great grandchildren Hallie Ward, Cameron Breaux, Ian Beckett, Victoria Deville and Mathew Deville.
