Herman S. Rape, 73, of 1405 Clayton, died Sunday.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Assembly of God Church. Dr. J.E. Jackson, pastor of First Assembly of God, and the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Mr. Rape was born in Hill County and had lived in Borger since 1943. He was a retired turbine operator with Southwestern Public Service Co.

He is survived by a son, Bill of Pampa; a daughter, Mrs. Linda Hilton of Broomfield, Colo.; three brothers, Buddy of Plainview, Jack of Fritch and Marvin of Floydada; three sisters, Mrs. May Templeton of Plainview, Mrs. Clyde Padgett of Hale Center and Mrs. Ruby Dillard of Post; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Bob Werther, Joe Wilson, Odean Smith, Raymond Clark, Richard Shores, and Dick Schmitz.
