Funeral Monday for J.D. Rasco
Funeral services for Jack Donald Rasco, 31, will be conducted at the Seventh Day Adventist Church here at 3 p.m. Monday. Elder James D. Meade, Amarillo assisted by I.W. Stonebrook, Ft. Worth, officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery with graveside military rites by the local Veterans of Foreign Wars post. Rites are under the direction of Minton Mortuary.
Rasco died Friday at Coltexo Camp near Lefors. He was born in Borger, Sept. 6, 1931, and had returned to this area a short time ago after an absence of several years.
A veteran of the Korean conflict, Rasco was a member of the VFW.
Supervising are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.J. Rasco, Lefors; a daughter, Janice Marie Rasco; a son, Jerry Don Rasco; a sister Mrs. Calvin Green, all of Borger; two brothers, Eddie Rasco, San Antonio, and Jim Rasco, Dallas.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Pryor, Henry Uzen, J.B. Green, Charlie McDougle, Jim Collier and Paul Mauk. Frank Porter, Perry Scott, C.R. Thomas and Allen West will act as honorary pallbearers.
