Funeral service will be held 2 pm Wednesday, May 24, 2017 in the Minton Memorial Chapel with Pastor Dwight Kirksey, officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.
Carl was born July 10, 1951 in Borger, Texas to Maude (Estes) and Lee Rawlins. Affectionately known as Poppy by his loving grandkids, he enjoyed golfing, singing karaoke, playing pool and fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Sanford and Don Rawlins; and sister, Leona Cowan.
Survivors include his daughters, Jessica Rawlins and of Stinnett, Casie Michael and husband Joe of Fritch, Nicole Rawlins and Jason McDaniel of Stinnett; their mother, Sharla Rawlins of Amarillo; seven grandchildren, Tayber, Taytum, Payton, Maysen, Ciara, Rylan, and Briley; brothers, Charles "Bulldog" Rawlins and wife Polly of Fritch, Lee Rawlins and wife Charlene of Fritch; sister, Della Viner and husband Frank of Fritch; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and his beloved canine companion, Moe.
