John Kendell Reed, Sr., 69, Borger, died Monday, Dec. 12, 1994 in Golden Plains Community Hospital.
Services are pending with Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
A native of Miami, he had been a Borger resident since 1952. He was a salesman for Republic Supply Co. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church, and a World War II Navy veteran, 3rd Class Radar.
He married Joan McCleary on March 8, 1952 in Portales, N.M.
Survivors include his wife of the home; two sons, John K. Reed, Jr., and Joe King Reed, both of Borger; two brothers, H.T. Reed of Houston; Lee Reed of Providence, R.I.; a sister, Viola Bullard of Pampa; and a step-grandchild.

Graveside services for Norma Joan Reed, 62, Borger, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Highland Park Cemetery with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mrs. Reed died Monday, Oct. 2, 1995 in North Plains Care Center, Borger.
A native of Claysville, Pa., she had been a Borger resident since 1952. She was a homemaker, and a member of Bible Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Reed, Sr., in 1994 and a daughter, Roxanna Gail Reed in 1957.
Survivors include two sons, John K. Reed, Jr., and Joe King Reed, both of Borger; a brother, Bill McCleary of Fort Worth; three sisters, Jeannie Phillips, Betty Cheek, both of Fort Worth; and Marie Radcliff of Graham; and a step-grandson.
