Claude Edgar Renick, 62, 221 N. Hedgecoke, died suddenly at the North Plains Hospital at 1 a.m. today following a heart attack.
Mr. Renick was a long-time resident of Borger, having moved here in 1930. He was a co-owner of the Hull-Renick Grocery Store, 213 N. Hedgecoke.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. C.E. Renick, of the home address; one son, Charles, of Borger; three daughters, Mrs. Joe Hull, Borger, Mrs. Fred Cochran and Mrs. A.P. Roscoe, both of Phillips; his mother, Mrs. Ella I. Renick, Borger; one brother, G.E., Shamrock; five grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are pending with the body resting at the Simpson Funeral Home.

Final rites will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the First Christian Church for Claude Edgar Renick, 62, 221 N. Hedgecoke, who suffered a fatal heart attack yesterday morning.
Rev. Dick Clayborne, pastor of the First Christian Church, will officiate.
Interment will be made in the Highland Park cemetery, under the direction of the Simpson Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Gladys Renick, 75, of 208 B. Ave., Phillips, were at the First Christian Church, 200 S. Bryan, at 3 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Kenneth E. Jones officiating.
Mrs. Renick died at 12:20 a.m. Friday at the Magic Plains Nursing Home.
Interment in Highland Park Cemetery was under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Renick was a longtime resident of the area and was a member of the First Christian Church.
Survivor include a son, C.T. Renick of Borger; three daughters, Mrs. C.F. Cochran and Mrs. A.P. Roscoe, both of Phillips, Mrs. Joe Hull of Borger; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
