Borger News Herald - March 30, 1953
Mrs. Emma Reppond, 60, of Borger, died at the local hospital at 9:45 o'clock this morning after an illness or more than four months.
A long time resident of the area, Mrs. Reppond was a member of the First Baptist church here.
She was the wife of L.B. Reppond, of 609 Harvey. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Louise Castleman and Mrs. Neil Hastings, both of Borger; a son, R.D. Reppond of Winnsboro, Tex.; two brothers, Roy Daffern of Vallejo, Calif., and Wid Daffern of Oakland, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Pollard of Oakland, and seven grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
