Services for John G. Ridling, 63, of 724 McPherson, were at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Borger Missionary Baptist Church.

The Rev. W.O. Sears, pastor, assisted by Rev. James Garton of Amarillo, officiated.

Burial was in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Mr. Ridling died Thursday in St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo.

A retired oil field driller, he was a native of Seminole, Okla. Mr. Ridling had lived in Borger for 36 years.

He was a Baptist. He married Madge Crawford Nov. 20, 1947 in Clayton, N.M.

Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Helen Irene Clifton of Dumas and Sheri Elizabeth McHenry of Borger; four sons, Bill Ray Klem of Amarillo, Jerry Dean of San Antonio, John Glenn of Borger, and Ronald Bruce of New Mexico; one brother, Charles of St. Louis, Mo.; one sister, Irene Cole of Oklahoma; 19 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Madeline M. "Madge" Ridling, 76, 724 McPherson, died Friday, April 24, in her home.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Borger Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. James Garten, pastor of Pavillard Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.

A homemaker, she was a native of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, and a Borger resident for 44 years.

She was a member of the Borger Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.G. Ridling in 1982 and a son, Billy Klem in 1987.

She is survived by three sons, Jerry Ridling of San Antonio, John Ridling and Bruce Ridling, both of Borger; two daughters, Helen Clifton of Dumas, Sheri Fergerson of Fritch; a brother, Manuel Crawford of Amarillo; three sisters, Mary Ann Chernek of Phoenix, Arizona, Loise Farley and Ruth Kirkendall both of Pauls Valley, Okla., 22 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
