Charles Henry Cowan was born on July 22, 1949 in Lee County, Texas to Maynard Cornelius Cowan and Ona Mae Stork. He is the brother of Kenneth Maynard Cowan.
Mr. Cowan married Miss Belle Holdren in 1969 in Lee County, Texas. They have a son named William Ashley Cowan.
Charles enlisted in the U.S. Army on July 31, 1969 and was honorably discharged on February 1, 1972.
HE IS A BRONZE STAR MEDAL RECIPIENT FOR HIS MERITORIOUS SERVICE.
His occupation after the service was a Communications Technician (Ret.)
Mr. Cowan died on July 27, 2007 in Caldwell, Burleson County, Texas at the age of 58.
