Roland Alexander was born April 9, 1899 to John Lake Alexander and Beulah Velma Alexander in Ennis, Ellis County, Texas.

He is the brother of John Lake Alexander Jr., Albert Wingfield Alexander, Jeanette E. Alexander, Juanita L. Alexander, Fletcher Ludlow Alexander, Isabella M. Alexander Curry and Margaret E. Alexander Pyndus.

Roland was married to Velma Leona Krahn in 1952.

Mr. Alexander died on July 21, 1958 at the age of 59 in Houston, Harris County, Texas.
