Funeral Service for Edna Mae Baggett, 97, of Lovington, New Mexico, was held Monday, December 27, 2010, at 10:00 AM at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. David Stewart officiating.
She passed away December 22, 2010 at Lovington Good Samaritan Care Center. She was born September 24, 1913 to Clarence and Sara Ada Wright. She married Johnie Richard Baggett January 5, 1929. She was a member of the 3rd & Central Church of Christ.
She is survived by her daughter Edwina Thomas and husband Lee Roy of Challis, Idaho and son Richard Baggett and wife Pat of Lovington, New Mexico, eight grandchildren Mike & Sandy Thomas, Ronnie Thomas, Connie Sue & Tommy Hawkins, Regina & Jay Nelson, Freddie & Karen Baggett, Johnie & Roe Baggett, Rene & Bryan Axtell and Rebecca Carter, twenty-one great grandchildren and seventeen great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, daughter Barbara Duely, great granddaughter Nicole Kemp, three brothers and five sisters.
