ODESSA - Louis Hayes Roney, 82, of 1613 E. Everglade St., died Tuesday in Odessa.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Calvary Baptist Church in Borger with the Rev. Earl Skaggs, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Alexander Funeral Directors.
A native of Marietta, Okla., he lived in Borger for 55 years before moving to Odessa two years ago.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge and Order of Eastern Star 811 in Borger, a member of the Scottish Rite Consistory in Guthrie, Okla., a life member of Towanda Lodge 30 in Towanda, Kan. He received a 40-year pin from the Masonic Lodge and OES.
He married Mary Ellen Gentry Sept. 20, 1921 in Eldorado, Kan. She died in 1972.
Survivors include a son, Ralph Roney of Odessa and six grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ellen Roney, 68, of 1308 Francis, are pending with Simpson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Roney died at 6:20 a.m. today at North Plains Hospital. She was born Dec. 19, 1903 in West Plains, Mo. and came to Borger in 1927 from Eldorado, Kans.
She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Order of Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile.
Survivors include her husband, L.H. of the home; one son, James Ralph Roney of Odessa; two brothers, Robert P. Gentry of Gillette, Wyo. and Cecil H. Gentry of Pomonia, Mo.; six grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
