BORGER - Stanley Randolph Rudisell, 74, died Wednesday, June 24, 1998.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Brown Funeral Directors Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Dr. Randy Rudisell, pastor of First Baptist Church in Irving, and the Rev. Ricardo Garzon, pastor of Primera Iglesia Bautista, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery.
Mr. Rudisell was born in Hominy, Okla., and had lived in Borger for 30 years. He graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1950.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving for 2-1/2 years in the Army Air Corps serving a tour of duty in the China, Burma, India Theater on a B-24 Bomber.
Mr. Rudisell was an electrical engineer for Phillips Petroleum Co., retiring in 1984 after 31 years. He had served as regional director of reservoir engineering in Borger the last 20 years.
He was a member of First Baptist Church, a chapter chairman of American Petroleum Institute for four years and vice president of the American Heart Association from 1971-1972.
He married Jeanne B. Taylor in 1942 at Pawnee, Okla.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Dr. Randy Rudisell of Irving; two daughters, Linda Rudisell of Wilmington, Del., and Karen Kerr of Borger; two sisters, Delores Cavender of Tustin, Calif., and Virginia Blair of Tulsa, Okla.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be to Crown of Texas Hospice, 1000 S. Jefferson St., Amarillo, Texas 79101.
