When Benjamin Hade Finley was born on July 6, 1932, in Arkansas, his father, Benjamin, was 43 and his mother, Pearl, was 40. He married Linda Pellite on August 28, 1950, in Sharp, Arkansas. They had four children during their marriage. He died on March 6, 1983, at the age of 50, and was buried in Brownfield, Texas.
