Roy Earl "Sandy" Sandefur, 90, of Borger died Tuesday, October 23, 2012.
Sandy was born November 15, 1921 in Bridgeport, Texas to J.D. and Thelma (Cormack) Sandefur. He married Frances Inez Dillard on July 2, 1947. Sandy was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. He has been a member of the National Rifle Association since 1946. Sandy was a gunsmith and loved to play the fiddle and guitar.
Sandy is survived by his wife of 65 years, Inez; two sons Rusty Sandefur and wife Lisa of Houston; John Sandefur and wife Regina of Borger; one daughter, Nancy Michener and husband John D. of Rifle, Colorado; Eight Grandchildren, Eleven Great Grandchildren and one Great-Great Grandchild.
