*Obituary
Gertrude E. Sanders, 84, 906 S. Robey, in Fritch, died Saturday afternoon in Amarillo.
A housewife, she was a native of Hoxie, Arkansas, and a Fritch resident for 3 years.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, at The Chapel of the Fountains, with Mr. John Kimbrough, minister of Fritch Church of Christ, officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemtery [sic] under the direction of Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Home.
Survivors are her son, B.G. Sanders of Fritch; one daughter, Betty Jo Smith of Lafayette, La.; one brother, Ed Carr; two sisters, Mildred Willeford of Washington, Okla., and Willie Ann McMahon of Owasso, Okla.; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence M. Sanders in 1954.
