*Obituary
Mrs. Ethel Schroeder, 82, of 213 Davenport St. in Borger, died at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Bible Baptist Church in Borger with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Alexander Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Schroeder was born in a sod house in Oklahoma Indian terrority [sic] southwest of Woodward, Okla., before Oklahoma became a state. She moved to this area before Borger was founded. Her family operated a boarding house in the early days of Borger.

She is survived by four sons, Jackson and Marion of Borger, Stephen of Fritch and Gerald of Billings, Mont.; one sister, Mrs. Alva Englant of Bovina, Texas; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be David Schroeder, Glenn Schroeder, Gary Schroeder, Mike Schroeder, Jackie Schroeder and Clay Schroeder.

Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons-in-law.
