Howard Jackson Schroeder, 57, of 213 Davenport in Borger, died at 9:30 a.m. Sunday in his home.

A truck driver for Atlas Van Lines, he was a native of Pampa and a lifetime resident in the area.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the First Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife - Earline of the home; daughter - Anna Smith of Borger; six sons - Tommy Harwell of Houston, David Schroeder of Borger, Glenn Schroeder of Pampa, Mike Schroeder, Gary Schroeder and Jackie Schroeder all of Borger; three brothers - Marion Schroeder of Borger, Stephen Schroeder of Fritch, Gerald Schroeder of Montana and 11 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Minton Memorial Chapel with Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Park under the direction of Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Casket bearers will be John Roberts, Bobby Temple, T.O. McMillan and Gerald Kelley.
