Funeral services for Frank Sherel, 73, of 820 Alabama, are pending with Minton Mortuary.

Sherel, a resident of Borger for the past 30 years, died at 8:55 p.m. Tuesday at North Plains Hospital.

He was born Dec. 25, 1900 in Palestine. He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Eula of the home; two sons, Frank Jr and Sylvester, both of Borger; four daughters, Mary Sherel of Borger, Betty Sherel of Clovis, N.M.; Maxine Sherel of Hobbs, N.M., Flora Jean Sherel of Fort Worth; a sister, Mrs. Mary Liza Copeland of Palestine; and 11 grandchildren.

Funeral services for Frank Sherel, 73, of 820 Alabama, will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday from the Jim Hall Street Church of Christ with the Rev. B.F. Gibbs, pastor of the Amarillo Church of Christ, officiating.

Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Mortuary.

Sherel, a longtime resident of Borger, died at 8:55 p.m. Tuesday at North Plains Hospital.

Services include his wife, two sons, four daughters, a sister and 11 grandchildren.

Casketbearers will be Clifton White, John Sneed, B.R. Davis, Elvie Williams, Red Fields, R.C. Franklin, Pat Gooden.
