STINNETT - Services for William C. Shipp, 67, of 1005 S. Wilhelm, are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday in Ed Brown & Sons Chapel of the Fountains, with the Rev. Jimmie Gilmore, pastor of Riverview Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery.

Mr. Shipp died at 1:25 a.m. Saturday in North Plains Hospital.

A native of Madison County, Ark., he had been a Stinnett resident for 54 years. He was a veteran of World War II, and a retired driller.

Mr. Shipp was known to CBers as "Pontiac:, his CB handle.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby; two daughters, Mrs. Deloris Chartier of Los Angeles, Calif. and Mrs. Doris Ash of Bakersfield, Calif.; two brothers, J.D. of Borger and Scott of Bartlesville, Okla.; seven grandchildren and one grandchild.
