*Obituary
Leo Smithson, 80, Borger, died Thursday, Aug. 12, 1993 in Golden Plains Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Robert Smith, pastor of First Christian Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.
A native of Birch Tree, Mo., he had been a Borger resident for 47 years. He was a retired gas tester for Phillips Petroleum E&P Division. He was a member of First Christian Church, and was a World War II Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Pat; three sisters, Leona Kentner and Bessie Anderson, both of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and Zella Rowe of Shidler, Okla.; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
