*Obituary
Funeral services for Jack Southern 48, of 620 Tristram, are pending with Simpson Funeral Home. Southern died at 9 a.m. today in Oklahoma City's Mercy Hospital where he underwent heart surgery.

An elder in the Gardner Street Church of Christ, he was Amarillo representative for the sale of church loans.

Among survivors are the wife, Lorain, sons, David and Richard of the home.
