Tamera Colleen Srygley was born April 3, 1953, in Borger. She was a longtime resident of Dallas, passing away on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009, donating her body to ScienceCare Research.

Tamera was self-employed with her own cleaning business. Previously she worked for Zola Levitt Ministries with the television production, and as a travel agent to the Middle East, getting to tour Europe extensively. Early in her career, she worked at Presbyterian Hospital as secretary for the president, Mr. Bell, while attending Richmond College and becoming a licensed realtor.

She had received several different educational certifications in modeling, reiki, psychorientology, and investing.

Her hobbies included yoga, singing, and playing the piano. She loved the musical arts and to dance in the ballroom.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Elmer and Alene Srygley, a brother-in-law the late Jerry Spillman, and is survived by her sister Renee and husband George Geiger III of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a brother Zachary Srygley of Amarillo; her sister Melissa Spillman of Bartlesville, Okla., and sister Rachel and spouse Jerry Hill of Lefors, along with several nieces and nephews.

A private family service will be held at a later date in Highland Park Cemetery in Borger.

Tamera and her family appreciated the care and treatment she received at Parkland Hospital, UT Southwestern Medical Center, Palliative Care, Vibra Specialty Hospital, and the American Cancer Society, along with all the support from many friends.
