Leslie Merle Stark
June 21, 1925 - November 6, 2016

Leslie Merle Stark, 91, died November 6, 2016 in Amarillo. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Minton Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Leslie was born June 21, 1925 in Bartlesville, OK to J. O. Stark and Anna Brown Stark. He proudly served his country in WWII as a Corporal in the U. S. Army. Leslie married Juanita Ausbrooks May 27, 1954 in Clovis, NM and was a member of the Adobe Walls Masonic Lodge which is now the Unity Masonic Lodge. He was also a member of Fairlanes Baptist Church. He has lived in Borger since 1946 and worked as a Stillman for Phillips Petroleum Co.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years Juanita, his two daughters Shelia Holland and her husband Roger of Amarillo and Judy Cooper of Borger, his two brothers Jack Stark of Ada, OK and David Stark of Lake Jackson, TX, his sister Edith Bivins of Caldwell, Idaho, five Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren.
