Funeral services for L.G. "Stew" Stewart, 64, 108 Froma, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Earl Skaggs, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Casketbearers will be Mike Keller, Raymond Moore, Danny Robinson, J.D. Jeter, Bill Chitwood, Robert Watkins, Clifton Westbrook, Randy Tenell, James J. Witt, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Helen of the home; four brothers, Roy and Kenneth, both of Oklahoma City, Bob and Don, both of Fresno, Calif.; three sisters, Dorothy
Walters of Burns Flat, Okla., Chalene Walter of Clinton, Okla., Sue Wilson of Oklahoma City, Okla., one grandson.
He moved to Borger in 1947 from Clinton, Okla., retired from Phillips on March 1, 1982 after 35 years of service. He was preceded in death by a son, Gary, in 1977, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Malcom Stewart and two brothers, Elmer and Jack Stewart.

Helen Marie (Claus) Stewart passed away April 30, 2017 at Caprock Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Borger.
She was born December 17, 1923 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to William and Georgia Anna (Gosley) Claus.
She loved to dance , read and shop QVC for jewelry and gifts. She loved her dogs and cared for them until she went to Caprock.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lester George "L.G." Stewart who passed away in 1988 and her devoted caregiver, Jim Witt.
She is survived by her dear friend and caregiver Mrs. Stella Witt of Borger; Stella's children: Janice Robinson and husband Danny of Lubbock and Jimmy Witt and wife Lynne of Thornton, Colorado; God-children: Paula Mayberry and husband Carl George of Fritch and Dan Rodgers of Batesville, Arkansas.
Mrs. Stewart will lie in state at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains on Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 AM- 5 PM.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Highland Park Cemetery, Borger.
Services are entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors, Borger.
