Services for Roy C. Stone, 83, of 707 Monroe, will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Lyman Paul Wood, pastor, officiating.
Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Mortuary.
Mr. Stone died Wednesday. He was born Jan. 25, 1894 in Waxahachie and had lived in Borger for 33 years. He was a retired boiler maker and a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Flossie; two daughters, Mrs. Clemmie Jones and Mrs. Retha Bucher both of Borger; two sons, Roy A. of Phillips and Bob of Madisonville; one stepson, George Thutt of Houston; two sisters, Mrs. Sadie Tripp and Mrs. Oleta Downing both of Odessa; three brothers, Dawson of Henrietta, Virgil of Sulphur, Okla., and Walter of Whichita [sic] Falls; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bob, Kenneth, Leon, Jerald, Jack, and Kenny McDonald.

Mrs. R.C. Stone, 58, of 400 Delaware street, Borger, died last night in Healdton, Okla., where she was visiting.
She was the wife of Roy Stone, and also is survived by two sons, Roy A. of Dumas and Bob of Borger; two daughters, Mrs. C.W. Bucher of Borger and Mrs. C.M. Jones of Healdton; a sister, Mrs. Abb Moore of Walters, Okla., and four brothers, C.J. and J.C. McDonald of Borger, R.B. of Vernon and D.L. of Graham.
Final rites are pending the arrival of the body in Borger.
