James Baxter “Jimmie” Covington was born on January 21, 1889 to Robert James Covington and Laura Prescilla Smith in Dublin, Erath County, Texas.
He is the brother of Carrie Covington, Lorena Covington, Robert Byron Covington, Eugene Charles Covington, Ernest F. Covington, Eula Caroline Covington and Jane Della Covington.
James married Elizabeth Amelia Pressly in 1954 in Harris County, Texas
Mr. Covington died on May 28, 1955 at the age of 66 in Houston, Harris County, Texas.
