MUSKOGEE, OKLA. - Janette Mondell Stringer, 66, Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, died Saturday in Muskogee Regional Medical Center of Muskogee, Okla.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Fort Gibson Church of Christ with Harvey Young officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with Rev. Orville Rogers, pastor of First Baptist Church in Stinnett, officiating.
A homemaker, she was a native of Personville, Texas and a former Borger resident.
She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Luther Stringer of Fort Gibson, Okla.; one daughter, Brenda Cory of Fort Gibson, Okla.; two sisters, Doris Arnall of Gideon, Okla. and Dorothy Morgan of Borger; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
Janette and Luther Stringer were married February 14, 1983.
Local arrangements are by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Home.
