Funeral services for Mrs. Leona Jewel Stringer, 77, 600 Mesquite, Fritch, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains with Rev. Kenneth L. Curtis, pastor, First Baptist Church in Fritch, officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Ed Brown & Sons.

Mrs. Stringer died Saturday morning at her home. A housewife and native of Young County, she had lived in Fritch for eight years after moving from Moab, Utah.

She is survived by her husband, L.B. "Bunk" Stringer; three daughters, Mrs. R.S. Newberry, Fritch, Mrs. M.E. Madden, Odessa and Mrs. Jim Pollard of Enumclaw, Wash.; three brothers, Ray Isham, Amarillo; Emory Isham, Abilene, Jim Isham, Forida [sic]; two sisters, Mrs. Wayne Hurt and Mrs. Opal Harper of Borger.
