FRITCH - Luther B. "Bunk" Stringer, 87, died Thursday, Oct. 19, 1995 in Golden Plains Community Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Highland Park Cemetery with the Rev. Don Rice, pastor of Faith Baptist Church in Fritch, officiating.
Burial will be by Brown Funeral Directors of Borger.
A native of Graham, he had been a Fritch resident for 22 years. He was a retired supervisor for Utah Power and Light Company in Moab, Utah, and was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
He married Jewel Isham May 4, 1929. She preceded him in death Sept. 18, 1982.
He was also preceded in death by his second wife, Jannette Mondell March 6, 1993.
Survivors include three daughters, Doris Madden and Wilma Brown, both of Odessa; and Ada Newberry of Fritch; a stepdaughter, Brenda Cory of Fort Gibson, Okla.; a brother, Arnie Stringer of Bloomfield, N.M., three sisters, Georgia Beatty of Pueblo, Colo.; Grace Walters and Betty Brandt, both of Lompoc, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 300 S. McGee, Borger, 79007, or Frank Phillips College, Kevin McKinney Scholarship Fund.
