Funeral services for an 83-year-old Borger man who died at 4:15 a.m. Saturday in the Magic Plains Nursing Home will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday in the Chapel of the Fountains of Ed Brown, Funeral Directors.

Interment rites for William J. Syrios are scheduled in Highland Park cemetery under the auspices of Isom Lodge 1242 A.F. & A.am.

The Rev. Clifford May, Lubbock, will officiate the services assisted by Rev. Harold Brown, pastor of the Trinity Church of the Nazarene, Borger.

Syrios, who had lived in Borger since 1926, was a member of The Shrine and a charter member of Isom Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by a son, John Syrios and a daughter Mrs. E.B. Rhodes, both of Borger. He is also survived by one step-son, Bob Goodwin, Tulia; a sisters, Mrs. Rose Kundandes and a brother, Sam, both of Chicago.

Syrios is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
