*Obituary
BORGER - Al Tekell, 87, died Tuesday, April 12, 2005.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First Baptist Church with Scott Maze, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors.
Mr. Tekell was born Aug. 30, 1917, in Hillsboro. He married Lavern Tekell on April 11, 1936, in Haskell.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Diana Simpson of Scottsdale, Ariz.; a sister, Birdie Goforth of Victoria; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
