Earnest Simpson Dobbs was born on June 7, 1900 in Waxahachie, Ellis County, Texas to Joe and Rose Dobbs.
He is the brother of Ira Gaston Dobbs and Roberta Dobbs.
Earnest married Pearl Tommie Rosenau Smith.
Gilbert Dewitt Dobbs is his son.
He worked as a Motion Picture Operator.
Mr. Dobbs died on December 3, 1963 at Navasota, Grimes County, Texas at the age of 63. He is buried with his wife Pearl at Forest Park Lawndale in Houston, Texas.
