Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery
Harris County,
Texas

Jack C. Ralston was born in Kentucky in 1883. He was a lineman.

Mr. Ralston was electrocuted and died on September 29, 1921 in Houston, Harris County, Texas at the age of 38.

His death certificate shows he was buried at Evergreen cemetery in Harris County, Texas. In 1960, the city of Houston sought to expand Lockwood Drive from Sonora to Liberty Road. The expansion split the cemetery and caused the bodies of 490 persons to be moved and re-interred in other cemeteries. Mr. Ralston was moved to Forest Park Lawndale in Houston, Harris County, Texas. He is buried near about 50 others who were also members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. There is a tall, upright monument with IBEW engraved in it, with all of the IBEW flat grave markers surrounding it.
