Floyd Gentry was born on December 24, 1901 to John Calvin Gentry and Myrtle "Mertie" Ferrell in Texas.
He is the brother of Nora, Herman, Grace "Gracie", John and Louis Gentry.
Floyd was married to May Golman and the father of
Cleo Herman Gentry.
Mr. Gentry died on December 29, 1948 at the age of 27. He is buried in Walker County, Texas.
