PFC Lonnie Sweat was born in Groveton, Trinity County, Texas on January 6, 1916 to Dillard Sweat and Samantha Burnett.
Lonnie is the brother of Caroline Sweat Horace, Viola Sweat Chatman, Vetta Sweat Reece and Sherman Sweat.
He enlisted in the military on January 14, 1942. After he was discharged from the military he worked as a Laborer.
Mr. Sweat died on November 28, 1957 at the age of 40 in Houston, Harris County, Texas. He was married to Ladell Sweat at this time of death.
