Omer Dean Bones was born on August 29, 1872 to Clifton Weldon Bones and Frances Irene Compton in Missouri.

Married Pearl Leonard in Travis County, Texas in 1894. From this union are the following children:

Pearl died in 1924. He married Louise Armour Spencer between 1925-1930 (She is on the 1930 & 1940 Census listed as the wife of Omer). They had no known children.
Omer was the Storekeeper for the Austin State School for 25 years, and a resident of Austin, Texas for 60 years. He was a long-standing member of the Central Christian Church and served as a Deacon.
Mr. Bones died on November 28, 1941 in Austin, Travis County, Texas at the age of 69. He preceded his second wife in death by 30 years. Pearl, Omer and Louise are all buried in the same cemetery in Austin, Texas.
