Funeral services will be held today for Mrs. Juanita Van Hooser, who died at 1:30 a.m. Sunday at Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo.
Mrs. Van Hooser, 41, had been a Borger resident for 14 years, living at 708 West Stephens.
The Rev. V.O. Smith, pastor of the Clearview Baptist Church, will conduct final services at the North Hills Baptist Church at 2 p.m. today. Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Ed Brown, Funeral Director.
Survivors are her husband Bill Van Hooser, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Chaney, three sisters, Mrs. Edna Mae Dooley of Dalhart, Mrs. Lavon Whiteside of Borger, and Mrs. Charlene Holbrook of Ardmore, Okla.; two daughters, Mrs. Anita Reed and Theresa Faye Matthews, both of Borger; and three sons, Jerry Matthews, Ronald Pardue and Hanns Van Hooser, all of Borger.
Casketbearers will be George Sorenson, William Fickel, George Surles, Rex Baker, Johnny Clawson, and Robert McClure. Honorary bearers named were Phillip Kensley, Robert Fink, Richard McGee, Bobby Vier, Sherman Hogue and George Paro.
